All eyes on Dominik Szoboszlai
A future star of the Soccer world who hails from Hungary has been overwhelmed with a huge transfer market response; some of the largest football clubs on the planet have followed suit of the predecessors and began their hunt for the youngster.
Dominik Szoboszlai, born and raised in Budapest, Hungary is currently signed and active for the Red Bull Salzburg squad in the Austrian Bundesliga.
The 19-year old midfielder has been making his presence known in Austria and has already obtained 8 caps for the Hungarian international team, with one goal to his national record. Currently valued at around 14 million euros, he’s recently sparked the interest of the larger European teams.
The Hungarian coach Marco Rossi went on record to reveal that Italy’s biggest clubs all want to make an offer for the RB Salzburg talent Dominik Szoboszlai.
“I spoke to Szoboszlai and also to his agent, who I get along with very well,” Rossi told passioneinter.com.

“His agent told me that, just before the coronavirus chaos ground everything to a halt, he had received several offers from Italy and was likely to go there next season.
“I believe the choice is down to Inter, Milan and Lazio. His agent was confident the idea had been for him to move in January, but a series of reasons saw it postponed until June.
“I don’t know if things have changed now, as he didn’t go into details. I think they are in advanced negotiations with one of the three Serie A clubs I mentioned, even if I cannot say which one.”
So, a move to Italy looks to be an early reflection on how the Hungarian is feeling, with Inter Milan, AC Milan, Juventus and Lazio all showing interest. Rossi has coached Dominik under his wing for just 8 games, but his insight towards the direction of Dominik’s career should be seen as a trustworthy source of information. Italy does look like the country for Dominik, but this news may change after the coronavirus pandemic as more clubs add themselves to the hunt. A betting man would, for sure, lean with Dominik joining an Italian side but unfortunately, the bookmakers aren’t offering this market, but you can place a bet on the Belarus Vysshaya Liga, where Sltusk is in the first position 1 point ahead of Isloch Minsk.
The English Premier League
It wasn’t so long ago that Arsenal was showing interest in Dominik, they were close to signing him in 2019 but decided not to pursue. That same interest remains for the Gunners, as well as, Chelsea, and most recently, Leicester City all showing interest in the new kid on the block.

Leicester ace James Maddison has been linked with a move to Manchester United, which leaves a gap in the squad that could be perfectly filled by Dominik Szoboszlai.
Mátyás Esterhazy, who is Dominik’s agent, said: “There are some great options and England is a very good one for the future.
“But the main thing now is to survive the crisis and finish the season, hopefully as champions.”
If he were to side with an English club, the success of Leicester’s recruitment team could give him the best reasoning as to why he should join Leicester and I think they’d have a significantly higher chance of signing the Hungarian than their counterparts Chelsea or Arsenal.
The free-kick specialist that is Dominik Szoboszlai certainly has the choice on his plate, but we’ll have to defeat the pandemic before we can return to the normality of the football transfer market.
